Date Change For Our Move

I wanted to let you all know that we didn’t move on October 1st but we are moving November 1st. That is where I have been and what I have been doing! I also have been crocheting! It is how I handle stress!

This is a “mermaid tail” afghan that I made for my daughter. I call it a “fish” blanket! Ha! The pattern is FREE from the website of a wonderful designer Nadia Fuad. You can also find the pattern on Ravelry. I used Red Heart yarn in Wildflower. I also made her fingerless gloves in her favorite, camo! I wonder if I should make her another “fish” blanket in camo!

I also made an awesome poncho with a matching hat. I also made fingerless gloves to match but no pictures of those yet!

The FREE pattern is found here:

The FREE pattern for the hat is found here:

And, here is our moving disaster!!

With my kitty cat sleeping in the middle of it! Please pray we are all safe moving almost 500 miles!

I crochet. A lot. I make just about everything you would need if you lived in a cabin in the woods. Not plates and an ax but all the soft stuff. Hats, mittens and scarves. Blankets and shawls, too. I haven't made a pillow yet but I do make dolls, stuffed animals and jewelry. I am inspired by our pioneering ancestors who had to make almost everything they needed. I'd like to get back to that. It is an antidote for our microwave, I-want-it-now society. So, browse and if you like something and want it made special, just for you, please email me or put your order in the comments. Thank you!
