Autumn Shawl

Knitting an autumn colored triangle shawl!

(Basic “yarn over” increase each row, knit every stitch, each row with larger than called for circular needles with a long cable)

100% acrylic yarn

Practicing my knitting before I change to 100% natural fibers.

I think it’s Lionbrand Homestyle yarn, but I bought it at a thrift store and it was a large ball without a label. I *may* find the label in the center of the ball! It’s happened before!

I had completely lost interest in knitting or crochet but as soon as I decided that I was *rebranding* using natural fibers (especially linen and wool) I got excited!

I crochet. A lot. I make just about everything you would need if you lived in a cabin in the woods. Not plates and an ax but all the soft stuff. Hats, mittens and scarves. Blankets and shawls, too. I haven't made a pillow yet but I do make dolls, stuffed animals and jewelry. I am inspired by our pioneering ancestors who had to make almost everything they needed. I'd like to get back to that. It is an antidote for our microwave, I-want-it-now society. So, browse and if you like something and want it made special, just for you, please email me or put your order in the comments. Thank you!
